Introducing the MACH Race Timing System
With our focus on empowering South African athletes we have developed an inexpensive radio frequency identification (RFID) based system. The idea is to accumulate race time data for all participating athletes, by registering timepoints during a race and making it available in real time via the IRUNSA platform (currently being Beta tested)
The mach race timing system
MACH RFID READER
- powered by an Impinj E710 chip
- up to 15 m reading distance
- reads ~950 tags per second
- can work with both 865~868MHz(EU standard) and 902~928MHz(US standard) rfid tags
- uses the ISO18000-6C (EPC GEN2) Protocol
- a 0.01 ms time resolution between scanning tags (meaning tags that are scanned simultaneously will have an accuracy of +- 0.01 millisecond )

Pre-Event allocation of RFID tag to race bibs
We will assist in the design and printing of your race bibs, and assign the unique RFID tag to it. This will ensure that the registered athlete is allocated the right tag for identification in the race
Athlete registration support on the Event Day
Our service extends beyond just registered athletes, we can assist you with the event day allocation of race bibs and tags.
From setting up the reader and antenna at the start and /or finish line, to securely fixing the cabling at the event

Based on the type of event you are looking to host (single or multi-split), we can pre-configure dashboard views to cater to your need.The dashboard can be displayed on any HDMI equipped TV screen or monitor.For adequate visibility to the audience, the dashboard will be limited to the display of about 15 participants with their times.Each participant will also be limited to having up to 5 split time points displayed.

All tag id numbers and associated times for an event, are stored to the MySQL cloud hosted database.
The event data is accessible via the IRUNSA APP and made available in real-time.....
