What is Stocklink 1.0
We have developed a robust plug & play sensor that can be fitted without the need for expensive cabling. The sensor is built using wireless connectivity capabilities which allows for real-time communication that is easily scalable. By fitting the sensor above the palletized stock, it uses ultrasonic bursts of sound to determine the distance of the closest solid object, very much like the Doppler effect. In addition to enforcing picking best practice, which is picking each layer from front to back, we can afford you a view of the percentage stock fill on the pallet. The idea is the support the Warehousing Management System data as virtual and actual values can become easily misaligned due to stock being misplaced or stolen.
